How did you arrive at COCOON, what path brought you here?

I first heard about COCOON through Joe Cristaldi! We coach wrestling together, and at a wrestling tournament he asked me if I wanted to come learn a trade. I attended Lock Haven University for Physical Therapy, but I didn’t want to go to Graduate School. I did enjoy working with my hands though, so I said yes! He immediately sent a group text to the production team asking if we needed more Carpenter’s Apprentices and the rest is history!

Who have you worked with in the past? And what have you done for them?

Physical Therapy Plus – Physical Therapy Aid – monitored patients while exercising and aided them in their therapy.

How long have you been doing what you do?

My dad is a machinist by trade, so he has taught me a lot throughout the years, mostly while we work on our own house. But other than that, I don’t have any official training in the construction industry.

What are you known for professionally, what do you have a knack for?

I think as of right now, I am known for my ability to learn. I want to understand and continue to learn the trade so that someday I may have the opportunity to become a Project Manager.

What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your customers? What do your ideal customers say about you?

Well, I wish I didn’t have to wear a mask every day because I think our customers would say that I always have a smile on my face. Because of my general stature, I can seem intimidating, but I hope I come across as a genuine person who is approachable and friendly!

What are you most passionate about professionally? What most excites you about your work & the contribution you can make?

I like having the opportunity to build something – then getting to see the instant gratification in the faces of our customers and homeowners. I also enjoy seeing the final product and knowing that I got to be a part of something that is going to impact the lives of our customers.

What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy? What can’t you stop talking about?

Right now, it is wrestling season, so I am into sports. I enjoy coaching at Rustin and watching the kids improve not only in wrestling, but their lives as well. I believe wrestling helps mold young men and teaches them discipline.

Where can we find you when you’re not working? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?

When I’m not working, I’m usually at home or down at the shore, enjoying the weather and spending time with my family.

Where did you grow up and why aren’t you there now?

I grew up in Broomall and I still live there with my parents.

In the end, how do you want to be remembered?

As a genuine, friendly person, who is loved by everyone.
