Digital Marketing Specialist

Every person we interact with is directed to our website, which means our site is our first impression – our first chance to make an impact and tell people who we are. From loading speeds and design to site architecture and the general user experience, the website needs to be a living breathing representation of COCOON. If you can build landing pages in your sleep, and A/B tests get you out of bed in the morning – then we need you on the COCOON team.

Responsibilities:

• Create a seamless top of the funnel experience for our potential customers by developing, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns and SMS campaigns to engage and nurture leads.
• Utilize analytical tools to monitor website traffic, user behavior, and overall performance.
• Consistently try new things and experiment in order to drive healthy engagement across all of our digital marketing efforts.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports and analytics on website KPI’s and email performance to help us make informed decisions about what’s working, what isn’t and what we should try next.
• Make sure anyone in our target market looking for a home remodel online can find COCOON by developing and implementing SEO and PPC strategies – then measure it!
• Help guide our customers through the decision-making process by providing them with valuable pieces of engaging content.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, sharing insights and recommendations with the broader team.
• Seek to improve yourself through new training opportunities and challenges.
• Work with other members of the marketing team to launch campaigns and other marketing initiatives.
• Ability to participate in the occasional brand-building event serving our surrounding community.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications, or comparable experience
• At least 3 years of proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and analytics.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress, SEO best practices, and Google Analytics.
• Experience managing PPC campaigns and working with external agencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
