Wondering who to call if an issue pops up after our Construction Team wraps up? Call us, of course! At COCOON, our care for you and your remodel doesn’t end after we pack up our tools. Every customer gets COCOON+, a complimentary additional service that includes our One-Year Limited Warranty to ensure your remodel meets our rigorous quality standards.
We don’t just aim for “good enough.” COCOON standards adhere to or surpass those set by the National Association of Home Builders, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, and the Painting Contractors Association.

Here’s how it works — once the Construction Team has completed your renovation, a dedicated Detailing Specialist will collaborate with your Project Manager to perform a 200+ Point Quality Inspection. They will double-check and triple-check every aspect of your remodel to confirm quality craftsmanship.
Once the Quality Inspection is complete and we’ve made sure every detail is just right, COCOON+ kicks in. Here’s what this service and remodeling warranty covers:

Our remodel warranty doesn’t cover all general “wear and tear” from daily living, like wall smudges. And some products like faucet hardware will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty instead of COCOON+. We’re happy to go over everything with you so you know exactly what’s covered and what isn’t with your unique renovation.
It’s completely normal to see gaps or cracks in the year after your remodel, and it doesn’t mean something is structurally wrong. Remember that your home will gradually settle into its new permanent position after renovating. Settling happens as new materials dry and slightly shrink, then get pulled down by gravity. This natural movement can cause hairline cracks in walls or countertop seams, or gaps in caulking.
While it might be tempting to fix these minor cosmetic issues immediately, doing so too early often leads to the same cracks or gaps reappearing a few months later. That’s why we give your home some time to settle before conducting another walk-through and repairing any gapping or cracking that doesn’t meet our standards.
